CATACOMB RECORDS//about us
Catacomb Records dedicates itself to music more commonly referred to as stoner, doom, sludge and psychedelia. The label is based in The West Midlands and represents musicians who keep the raw and passionate flame of rock and roll burning.
It was started by two musicians who play in 4 bands between them and who are more importantly fans of this music. Bored of the current state of rock music, Catacomb Records are releasing music they love and music they want to hear, this may seem like a very basic starting point but if you don't like something, rather than complain, try and challenge it, let's create a revolution!!
As well as releasing music from our own artists, we also sell items from other labels. Visit our store to see what we have in stock.
So, if you're in a band that you think Catacomb Records will enjoy, then send over any info you have (demos, press packs or web link). Or, if you are a label interested in a trade, get in touch. If we don't reply immediately don't think we're not interested we're probably just busy. If you're not in a band, but want to say "hi" or want more information, then Catacomb Records would love to hear from you too.
Please don't contact us if you a random metal / punk / emo / hardcore band who wants us to release their album because (and one band actually said this!!) "no-one else will". Don't get us wrong, we do enjoy other types of music (except emo) but we don't particularly want to release it.
